Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII) oversees scientific institutions, education and school accreditation in the RF. MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII was established on March 9, 2004 by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation N 314. MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII acquired the functions relating to the adoption of regulatory legal acts in the sphere of activity of the previously abolished Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the functions relating to the adoption of regulatory legal acts in the scientific field implemented by the abolished Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies of the RF, as well as the functions relating to the adoption of regulatory legal acts in the area of activities of the Russian Patents and Trade Marks Agency. The ministry oversees Institute of Higher Education Of Russia, the State educational establishment (“training center of training leaders”), Center of the testing, National Information Center on Academic Recognition and Mobility.
Role of organization in the project
The role of the MESFR is of great significance for the consortium. Participation of the MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII in the project will ensure that all activities implemented by the Russian partner HEIs are to be in compliance with national policies and priorities set in the strategic national regulations in the sphere of education. It also will ensure dissemination of results and outcomes among the Russian HEIs multiplying positive effect of the project at national level. MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII will provide consortium with overall quality control and institutional support. At the same time MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII will enabe state recognision of the JDPEP. Experts from MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII will consult the consortium on the level of methodology development and needs analysis. Representatives of MINOBRNAUKI ROSSII will take part in several project meeting.
