The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a public authority in charge of implementation of state policy in the field of education. It provides regulation, management and governmental monitoring in the sphere of education and coordinates performance of regional and local bodies subordinated (education offices of the regional and capital city executive committees).
Mission: development of the intellectual potential of the nation, the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of education and science, ensuring competitiveness and sustainable socio-economic growth.
Objectives: formation of a unified state policy in the field of education, scientific and technical activities;
formation of a unified state policy in the sphere of state youth policy; the creation of necessary environment for education; improving the organization of scientific research and increase their competitiveness.
Role of organization in the project
Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan is always aimed at following the real needs of the education needs with the aim of applying the ongoing changes to the corresponding legislation, in order to keep the latter up-to-date. Therefore its participation in the structural project is absolutely irreplaceable. The special duty of the Ministry during the progress of the project will be concentrated in preparation and dissemination parts of the project. The preparation part would involve evaluation of experimental testing periods, involving the representatives of the state regulator. The need in the latter is to provide instant feedback on the applicability of the tested methods in the legal framework of the country education. The dissemination stage would require the same competence in providing for the smooth and legally predictable implementation of project outcomes.
